In 1949, while studying tuberculosis, Dr. H. Sherwood Lawrence determined that an immune response could be transferred from a donor to a recipient by injecting an extract of white blood cells (leukocytes) from a previously infected person, but healthy at the moment, to a newly infected patient. He discovered that the extract contained a factor capable of transferring immunity. He named the substance "transfer factor".
By transferring information from cell to cell, transfer factors provide the cells in the new environment a strong immune system.
Because transfer factors that produce lymphocytes (white blood cells - cells significant role in natural immune process) are very important in storing and immune recognition, their production could neutralize the damaging immune repose in healthy individuals. Thus by introducing transfer factors you can give the immune system the posibility to function normally again.
